This is an ongoing project that led to the foundation of Lithuanian and Japanese exchanges in architecture, offering both sides to establish new relationship. So far, there have been organized three events - 2002 in Kaunas, 2009 in Vilnius and 2011 in Tokyo. During project an international architecture student workshop took place with participation of 10 students from Lithuania and Japan, and a similar number on both sides of professional architects and teachers. Most famous project participants in Lithuania were the world-famous Japanese architect - Pritzker Prize winner Fumihiko Maki and one of the best known Japanese architect in the world Kengo Kuma.

East-East 4 provides workshops on "the central city and its connection to the river, a joint Japanese - Lithuanian Architects' exhibition, public lectures - Symposium. Also there will be released joint workshops and the exhibition catalog.
